DAYCARE ADVENTURES
Your pup's day at The Homestead is packed with outdoor fun! Half-days ($40) and full days ($50) include multiple nature hikes through our trails, group play with furry friends, swimming in the pond, obstacle courses, and plenty of time to explore. Our Canine Cottage is always available when dogs need a cozy break or nap. Full days include at least 4 group hikes, while half-days include at least 2. Daycare runs Monday through Friday (excluding long weekends), with Saturdays available by special request—just reach out by the preceding Thursday to check availability and book using your package credits or pay-as-you-go pricing.

Our Homestead Adventure Schedule
A typical day at The Homestead follows a gentle rhythm of movement, enrichment, and rest—designed to support each dog’s wellbeing while embracing the natural flow of farm life. Below is a sample of how our days are structured.
8:00 am - Arrivals (play time in our Hydro Dog Park)
9:00 am - Hike
10:00 am - Enrichment games and activities
10:30 am - Hike
11:30 am - Lunch time & siestas
12:00 pm - Half-Day pick-ups and arrivals
1:00 pm - Hike
2:00 pm - Enrichment games and activities
3:00pm - Relaxation activities including: sniff & stroll, TV time, cuddles, stories, fireside naps, and more...
As always, activities are guided by the individual dog and the group as a whole, along with weather and professional judgement, ensuring a safe, balanced, and fulfilling day for everyone. If you ever have questions, concerns, or specific requests related to your dog’s activities or physical health, please reach out to a member of our team and be sure to note them in your dog’s online profile.

Pup Celebrations
Make your dog’s birthday or “gotcha day” extra special! Available on any daycare day (please book at least 24 hours in advance), celebrations include a mini photo shoot, birthday swag, a music-filled Instagram story, and a special treat. You’re welcome to provide any favourite treats or decorations to help us celebrate your dog’s unique personality in a way that feels just right for them.

Natural
Enrichment
Enrichment at The Homestead is woven naturally into each day through nature, movement, and creativity. With access to forests, fields, and water, dogs enjoy activities like sniff work, bubbles, swim time, forest bathing, gentle problem-solving, and even dog-made art.
While we don’t offer formal training, dogs naturally practice basic manners, confidence, and social skills through daily routines and guided group experiences—always at their own pace.
Theme Days
Every 3rd Wednesday, we transform daycare with fun themes, decorations, and props—included free with daycare or boarding! All pups participate in group photos and themed activities. Check our website or social media for upcoming themes, and feel free to dress your pup for the occasion!
