​We offer you and your dog a Meet & Greet to tour our facilities, observe your dog in our environment, and review your application. This ensures we can thoughtfully welcome new dogs into our pack while maintaining the safe, enriching experience our Homestead dogs deserve and enjoy.

To ensure the safety of all dogs in our care, we cannot accept dogs who
-
have a history of aggression toward people, other dogs, or other animals
-
experience significant stress, reactivity, or fear around other dogs in group settings or shared space
-
need specialized behavioural intervention beyond our scope of care
-
have a history of jumping fences or escaping

Vaccine & Health Requirements
For the safety of all our guests, every dog entering The Homestead Nottawa must meet our vaccine and health requirements. Learn more in our Terms & Conditions. Please note that vaccines need time to become fully effective before your dog's stay with us. To ensure your dog is fully protected during their visit, please schedule vaccinations with enough time before your reservation.

If your dog has a documented veterinary medical exemption, please email us so we can discuss this with you.
Dogs over 12 months old must be spayed or neutered to attend The Homestead Nottawa.

Request a Meet & Greet with us by email

Register an account in our Client Portal (Sign Up by using invite code 948790)

Complete the Dog Profile Questionnaire in your account (please be honest and detailed about your dog’s personality and behaviour)

Sign our Terms & Conditions in your account “Waivers & Agreements” section

Upload your dog’s current “Certificate of Vaccination” in your account “Upload Records” section, or have your veterinarian email it directly to us and we can upload it for you

Email us that you’ve completed your enrolment steps.

We will carefully review your application and contact you within 2 weeks to schedule your Meet & Greet.
